Information Technology Specialist


Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

Looking for an Information Technology position in a growing company environment?  Consider a career at Boston Biomedical Associates (BBA).  BBA is a clinical research organization that specializes in helping clients obtain FDA approval for their medical devices.  BBA is looking for a full-time IT Specialist to support and grow our technology infrastructure.  Tasks will include:

• Learn BBA’s existing technology structure, including our network, email system, staff work stations, network peripherals, conference room displays, the telephone system, remote office connections and BBA applications residing at outside data centers. 
• Apply system patches and upgrades to the network and staff workstations in a timely manner.
• Prepare workstations when new employees are hired.
• Be the in-house expert for staff questions on using standard Microsoft Office applications, email, communications systems, and access to the BBA server.
• Complete system backups in accordance with established schedules.
• Maintain the BBA web site with direction from management.
• Become an expert in supporting BBA applications residing at outside data centers.

The position is full time and pays salary plus bonus.  Candidates require 0-3 years experience in Information Systems support in a networked, Microsoft environment.  An AA/AS in Information Technology or Computer Science is required; a BS/BA is preferred.
