JOB DESCRIPTION:


Senior Consultant – Clinical



Primary Roles and Responsibilities:


The main responsibility of this position is to complete the clinical research tasks assigned by the principal consultant or partner in charge of the client. Consultants in this position can fill the role of a senior clinical research associate, a research associate, a clinical monitor, and project manager.

Reports To: Principal Consultant or Partner in Charge of Clinical

Specific Duties:

Lead protocol and data form development efforts.

Perform client site qualification and manage initiation and monitoring activities.

Conduct clinical data monitoring quality assurance.

Coordinate and interface with data management.

Develop material/tools for clinical sites and meetings.

Participate in project budget preparation.

Develop project specific clinical and technical expertise.

Participate in regulatory document preparation.

Contribute to ongoing standard operating procedures review process.

Project management skills such as the ability to coordinate assignments, complete assignments within established timelines, refined and independent problem solving ability, and attention to detail. cleaning


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

B.A./B.S. in a science related/health field.

Work experience with a medical device company or as a consultant in the medical products industry, in particular as a medical monitor.

Work experience on protocol development and regulatory submission preparation.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.

Ability to work independently while generating quality project deliverables.

Familiarity with Good Clinical Practices.

Willingness to travel as project dictates.



Supervision:

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Communicate effectively with superiors, peers, subordinates, and client personnel at all levels.
